Some of the common diagnostics we perform include: blood tests, urinalysis, fecal exams, and ear/skin cytology. We are unable to perform imaging in the home setting (ex: radiographs/x-rays).

Please note: Family Companion Mobile Veterinary Care is not equipped to handle patient emergencies and are NOT available on an emergency basis. If you feel that your pet requires immediate medical attention, please contact the nearest veterinary emergency hospital. Our dedicated, compassionate, and experienced doctors will thoroughly examine your pet prior to any diagnostics or treatments. If further care is deemed necessary during your at-home visit, you will be informed of this so that you can make the best medical decision for your family and pet.

What To Expect

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR AT-HOME VETERINARY VISIT

Due to the nature of a mobile business, we ask that you please allow us a 30-minute arrival window before and after your scheduled appointment time. This means that if you appointment is scheduled at 1pm, we may arrive any time between 12:30-1:30pm.

You will receive a text message from the mobile team when they are on the way to your home prior to your appointment. When we arrive, we will park in your driveway or on the side of the street.

For cats, we ask that you please have your cat contained to either a bathroom, laundry room, or small room with limited areas for your cat to hide under large pieces of furniture. Unfortunately, if we are unable to examine your pet due to not being able to "catch"them a house call fee is still charged.
